Aug 19, 2010 - Wow this is the first time I have actually seen Chris Tomlin. I expected him to have a beard like Michael W Smith or the singer of Third Day, or long hair even... oh well proves my stereotyping of male gospel singers. But yeah I love playing this song at church, we tend to build up the music at the first part of the chorus and then go all out after the "Emanuel" part. Great Song Chris!

Jul 11, 2010 - I volunteer at Challenge (E Free Church Youth) Conference. In 02, 04 and 06 Chris was our worship leader. He went from relatively unkown to huge yet he still continued to spend amazing amount of time reading scripture. One of his biggest concerns was that the kids praise the Lord, not him. Chris and his bandmates are very humble, hard working Godly men.

Dec 8, 2009 - Hello. Generally our perception of God will be similar to that of our perception of our parents. It is that way for most people. It was that way for me. My mom is very creative so I marvel a lot at how God creates. Sometimes I portray God with my parents weaknesses too and I have to remind myself He's perfect!
